Hi, Has anyone ever seen this bottle? It looks like a ink to me, possibly english. It is clear, 3" X 2" and has a midway up the neck seam. Any help or history is greatly appreciated! Thnx, Taz
Hello if the F & A or also FA & Co are embbosed on the bottom I can give you info., don't beleive the maker of bottle would put on side unless down at the bottom side.
I show above as 1860 to 1862 Fahnstoct & Albee in Pittsburg.
David Dearden
Nice looking bottle there, it could also be a purfume or an essence/extract as they often came in almost the same types of bottle. Is it oval or round? if oval I would say purfume.
Hi Guys thanks for the comments... The bottle has NO embossing on the base Dave, it is slightly pushed up and concave however... And the bottle is round Irish here is another shot of the bottom.. Happy digg'n Taz
