This is the first piece of stoneware I recovered while diving, I found it in 1992 in the Merrimack river in Bow, NH. Although it is not rare it is still my favorite one. I have recovered about 30 more jugs of different types and sizes since, and all are from rivers in New England.

That looks like it should be a good one. Although maybe not rare, I'm sure it's still worth a good bit. Nice recovery and pic.

Hi div2roty,

A couple of years ago while diving the Nashua River with a friend, we found what appeared to be an intact salt glazed butter churn, while recovering it we found the back side broken away and a small 1 gallon crock lodged inside with a chicken pecking corn to the left in cobolt blue slip trail. I had already recovered an OP stoddard utility so I conceded the crock to my friend.
