Hi everyone, i am not a bottle collector has such, but my day job consists of me digging holes to lay new water pipes around Manchester. On the odd occasion i come across bottles that are intact. They are mainly what look like old beer or water bottles. Yesterday i found a bottle that has a marble inside it , it has the engravings HILTON & BATES NEWTON HEATH (which is in M'cr). Can anybody shed any light on it for me i cant find anything on the net relating to it. Thanks
