For what it's worth I have always thought that the bottle was blown at Mount Vernon/Mount Pleasant in Eastern New York State. It's one of my favorite colored pontil medicines.

That's interesting, I figured it was blown in NY too but just a guess on my part.
It has a fairly unique form that I have only seen in a few other meds.

I would like to see a copy of Beekman's Celebrated Teatise and Guide to Health.

I also am looking for anyone who has a NY Business Directory (like Dogetts?) from around 1840-1850 period.

Didn't Beekman's and Schenck's have some sort of legal fallout? Yeah, in 1845 Beekman Steals Schenck's Syrup. There was a 1/2 page column denouncing Beekman.
