Nice Cholagogue! How do you pronounce that, anyways?

I'm goin' for Cholla-gog-yoo... Could be Colla-gog-yoo, I suppose...

Hey Ron,

That's a nice one, all labelly and all. Can't quite read the directions. What did it cure or relieve? Do yours have a touch of the St. Vitus dance?

I'm votin for "Cholla-gog," I think the 'ue' may be silent...

Yep that sounds more like it. With Indian names like this, that "ue" is silent. Lots of towns around my area have that "ogue" suffix, which is pronounced "awg" (ie. Patchogue, Aquebogue, Cutchogue, Quogue, Ponquogue.....) I'ts from the Algonquin Indians. As a kid growing up on Long Island, you are required to know all these ridiculous pronunciations......... as well as all the words to every Billy Joel song....[;)]
