Cobalt shard turtle

This is my biggest shard of cobalt glass and the Turtle needed a shell[:D][:D] I don't know if big shards of glass are worth much but they look good in gardens , aquariums, etc. I dig up buckets of this stuff in a local dump. Thanks for looking, Marvin

Just look up Slag Glass on ebay. You'd be surprised what some of them are worth! It's glass that was used to make marbles, etc.

Thanks for the heads up on the slag glass Chris, and thank you all for your comments and replies.
We had a MOM plant here, which explains the cobalt glass in a 40's-60's dump. Maybe I can sell some to help pay the IRS this year[8D] Best of luck, to all, on your next dig. Marvin

Thanks Bram. I thought it was pretty funny too, when the thought of where could I put that big chunk of slag to good use came up. Thanks for look'n, Marvin

Could knap some pretty wicked looking arrowheads using that stuff. Might be a selling point should you try to sell it on the bay?
