Those are great! Most of em are 1860s or older I believe. I have a few like you have but you sure have a lot! Please post photos of the ones you are sending out after restoration.

There is a forum for marble collectors it is called the marbleconnection. Go there and look for a thread called restoration they have a bunch of before and after pics of marbles. In most cases they turn out better than when they were brand new. Only draw back is that collectors do not like polished marbles kind of like when some one cleans a bottle over and over to get rid of lip chips or flakes. Prices for full restoration run about $6 to $7 and just polishing runs about $4. Like to see some of the marbles you guys are digging out there. By the way I added 3 more lined crockery marbles to my collection from a dig today and a pontiled Baltimore soda. Greg

Here's one I dug yesterday. Can you tell me anything about it? I'm not trying to steal your thread. I'm just curious about it is all. Swiz

Wow that's a sweet soda and a lot of nice marbles. I had a benny once. The majority of marbles I had were all end of the days. I love seeing the older stuff. Swiz
