Got this from a woman paying me for a side job, it was the only one in the 68 she gave me that was a red seal and it looks like it was just printed. It has been sent off to be rated by PCGS and then it goes to e-bay.....This same note with a serial number in the 247,000 range sold for $795 about 2 months ago so I am hoping this very low serial number in the same or better condition will bring at least that. The guy at the coin shop offered me $700 before we sent it out so I know that's a great sign......Jim

Thanx Crozet, I was shocked because all the other bills were newer and worn, I have no idea how it made it out of that pile of bills in such great shape......:O)

Good for you, good eye, Jim! Keep us posted. That's so cool. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Beg, borrow or steal all the money you can get together and go back and see if she has more. At least X7 return on your investment I think you can find investors....Good luck .....Greg

Bit of info from 28th Standard catalog of US paper money Page 222: Series 1966 UNITED STATES NOTE---not a Federal reserve note. Granahan-Fowler Choice 63 300.00 Gem 65 500.00
Series 1966 star note Granahan-Fowler Ch 63 1600.00 Gem 65 1900.00
Last 1966A Elston-Kennedy Ch 63 600.00 Gem 65 1400.00

Yours appears to be one of the first listed. The lower serial No. may bring a premium, but its not a star note (no-2) and certainly not the (no3) as the Elston-Kennedy are not on the note in question.
Get the most you can and run with it. My brother had one of these last week. The first 1966 in fine condition and brought 125.00 Condition is everything, and yours does look like a nice specimen.

I went through every bill and this was dead smack in the middle Clam......Morb, I figure since the guy at the coin shop wanted it for $700 it must be good.....I found that info too MId and I have to assume such a low serial number is the reason I was offered $700 in the first place, just waiting on rating from PCGS. The coin shop guy said a minimum of 66 in his professional opinion and hopefully better......:O)
