Those are very nice pieces Steve! I think the vase looks a little funny with the tiny handles,but very nice just the same.We made droppers in science class out of tubing and I have been fascinated by how glass can be formed ever since.

Hi Tim yeah for funcinality the small handles are worhless.Its almost like the maker put them on upside down.
Sobriety was tough for the early German gaffers.A time honored tradition to this day.[:D]

Steve,..great post and interesting, significant glass you've got there..... You brought to mind that when I worked in downtown Buffalo back in the 80's, doing flat glass work, the old German glass cutter Paul, had a refrigerator right in the cutting room and there was always beer on the job.[:D] Joe
