Glad to see this new section of the forum, I have dug about 30 or so marbles around while digging dumps and after seeing all of these great marbles everyone has maybe I should start sifting. I dug this one in a local dump last winter. It appears to be made of clay and has a small hole in one side of it. Anyone know anything about this one and why it has the small hole in it? Heres a few pics of it.

Heres a pic of the hole in the marble, also the marble is a pretty distorted and odd shaped. It isn't really as round as most marbles usually are. It may not even be a marble but who knows.

Yea i believe it is a clay marble and i have no idea what the hole is about either. Possibly part of the clay decayed and ended up causing a hole in the marble; thats my guess but i don't really know.
