As you all know by now I'm not only a bottle digger but also a beach comber.....well I've found lots of interesting things on the beach, but this was a first for me....washed right up to my toes and I was like...WOW that's the weirdest rock I've ever seen!! Then I picked it up and saw it was a marble!![:D][:D]
Any idea on this one...I tried to get a few good pics...who knows how long its been tumbling around out there in Lake Michigan!!

Your marble is glass not agate. Pic is kinda bright makes it hard to see pattern. Show a pic of the poles where the bands come together. Sorta leaning towards Peltier at the moment. We'll see. Kool Nails![:D]

So is that a good marble? Do they have any value or is there a way to tell if they are indeed OLD marbles?
Sorry I probably have a billion questions I could ask...but I'll start out 1 or 2 at a time!!

It's looks old, but old or new . Not much value. Marble folks put them like that in the dollar or 2 fer box. It 's also a good idea to familiarize yourself with the modern mades. The Vacor, Mega, Jabo etc. I usually don't bother to I.D. those types because I don't collect them and the value isn't there.
