It's a little rough from being in the ground but no major damage.

I don't see any mica and it is a little rough from being buried but in better shape than the ones I usually dig. Would it be worth cleaning ?

If it were mine I'd have it polished. Some of hits are too deep. Thing about Onions you can't over polish because you get into the colors and open up the poles making it look bad. I'd have it polished just to improve it a tad.
