"Federal Law Forbids…"

ok , trying to determine these bottles still. Is it true that if the bottle has
"Federal Law Forbids…"
on the bottom or shoulders that they are worthless???
What about the ones that do not have it, does that mean that they are of value?

RE: "Federal Law Forbids…"

From what I know the Federal Law Forbids..... thing was required on liquor bottles from 1933 - 1964. Most of those bottles would not be worth much to collectors that are generally interested in older bottles. There are exceptions of course and there has to be a few bottles from that era that are worth something to due to a unique design that had only a few bottles produced. Some of the federal law bottles do have cool designs and 1933 bottles get older every year so it may pay to hold on to a select few. If they don't have it then they could be older and thus possibly good, especially bottles labled as medicinal during prohibition years, etc - but they could also be after 1964. I hope this helped more than confused!
