I dug a bottle like that a few years ago and I believe it is from the 1940's or 1950's.

I believe the original is embossed around the eye, and has a date of 1866, also the top is different.
There are two variants for embossing, one a Dr Fisch's Bitters and the other The Fish Bitters.

Fischfinder...Welcome to the Forum. Woody was correct. This bottle is from 1920-33 or so and contained Eli Lilly Cod Liver Oil...

So this bottle would be considered a replica? Or an original from 1922-1933?
