I'm just posting this to document that the items are not rare and there is a lot of myth propagating out there as to the origins.

Best not to rant too much or the thread will get deleted.

I saw someone walking out of the Keene bottle show with one almost exactly like that one.
I kind of just smiled a little smirk.[;)]

I just want to figure out the real story behind the bottles.
Given enough patience and effort I think the truth will evenually be uncovered.
I was impressed with the old bottle magazine ads that were posted on this forum. That seemed to be one of the first solid clues I have seen to the puzzle.

I wish your word puzzle contests were half as easy as figuring out camel jugs, Matt! [;)]

Others seem to do quite well at them. Maybe for you its unlucky at word puzzles, lucky at love...or something like that. I promise not to do any more of those for a long time.

Well it's not like I'm illiterate.. I don't know why I just don't have the patience.. maybe because I'm sprightly, flighty, and whimsical, not a math whiz.. but please, if other folks enjoy them, don't stop, certainly not on my account at least.. !
