I'm close to Troy, and know most of the biggist Bottle Collectors from the area. In 12 years I've been a member of the Albany Bottle Club, I've only heard of one other selling about 8 yrs ago. It was cracked, and a Club Member gave 1000 for it. It is an extremely rare bottle, and there might be some fireworks at the end if the collectors I know have seen it. I think it only comes in green.

All I can say is that the seller doesn't know much about bottles when he says "blob style pontil top". The early Troy NY bottles always attract my attention. I don't know which glass house made them, but the E Waters Blacking Bottles are a favorite.
