okay, i think i finally have this down.

where can i buy good american lids, is there a rough price guide anywhere, I have the american lids book but that is about 20 years old now! there seems to be such a small amount of useful info on the web.

so....help...please....thanks

Your right cadburys, there isn’t much material out there on prices. I keep a spread sheet of prices realized at auctions. Thankfully more and more auction houses are online. Some of the old auction catalogs have historical info. Harmer Rooke Galeries in New York was one that auctioned Ben Swanstons and Sonny Jackson’s material and lists prices. These occasionally appear on eBay

Another good guide is Glass Works Auctions #55. This auction event was the last major US collection to my knowledge to be offered back in 2000. This was the collection of Jim Hagenbuch representing 25 years of work on US lids.
