Happy New Year! Raise your hamd if you went digging or bottle shopping with your time off. I recently dug this in the Bay area, S.F., CA. It is 2 1/2" Across by1 1/2" Across, and 2"H. It is BIM and ground off like a small jar or bottle would be. The logo appears to have letters layered in this order. F on top, O second, and M third, with Co. last. I guessed Ford Motor Co., but have found no records of any motor vehicles that had a handle or knob such as this. The last pic shows a groove on the front side, and I'm guessing it was there to hold a latch or fasten something to. It's definitely a handle, but from what? More pictures follow this. How do you post more than one picture on a thread?
