Hello bottle people, thought I would throw this out there. I found this earlier this year, late spring or so. I found it in some muck that had been dredged from Grand Lake St. Marys in Ohio. Grand Lake was dug as a feeder for the Miami-Erie canal. It is the largest hand dug lake in the world. It is approx. 10 miles long, possibly 2 miles at its widest. They dredged a canal and piled the muck along the bank. A older gentleman told me that the canal ran thru the old city dump. I drove over and poked around and found a Duffs liquor bottle a few shards and the item pictured. It is copper and appears to be made for electric use, I am unsure of the age. If anyone has a suggestion feel free to give an opinion. I had to work outside today in the 15 degree weather. Had to power wash a cement pad. Spent more time blowing ice than I did dirt. Never did a hot shower feel so good, then I curled up in the blankets and slept. Have a great one bottle people, see ya soon. [:)]

Hard to say exactly what type of fixture it is from because you only have a couple parts. My guess is from a kerosene pull down lamp similar to this one. The round piece is either the font cup or the part that attaches to the ceiling and would have held the chain retractor mechanism. But, it could also be from an early electric fixture.
