Stoneware Crock

Hello- new to the forum. Recently dug a stoneware crock in a Civil War- WWI era dump. Don't know much about stoneware. Maybe someone could give me some hints? This pot is 3 3/4" tall and about 3" wide. Black stamp/ mark on front with what appears to be a "CW".

What you have is a little mustard or relish crock, these generally turn up in turn of the century dumps. Not sure what the company logo is, but you can get a whole collection of these with different logos besides the one you found - "R" and "S" are probably the most common(well, besides plain ones), but they occasionally turn up stencilled with full names as well, like Wien-Scent. Nice find!
