Hi. My Uncle found this in an attic (he's a carpenter), and the owner gave it to him. It's not really a bottle, but he knows I collect antique things, so he then gave it to me. I think it's from the 60's, but I don't know a thing about cans, so I could be wrong.

It's got all six cans (empty), and I think it's not in bad shape. Some pictures to follow.

So, is something like this collectible (or valuable)? I don't really like it, so I was hoping to sell it...

The bottom of the can (I guess the original opener did it upside down).

Some of them are opened like this, and some are opened up on the top.

don't know anything about cans but i would say it's collectable. it's pretty neat and in good shape. i look around antique malls, flea markets, etc and never have seen a complete set with the case. maybe a single can every now and then.

Pretty cool, this was the anniversary of the canned beverages last week. I saw a whole window display in one of the towns as I drove through in a taxi.
To someone it's a keeper.... [;)]

I had an eight pack of Hudepohl beer in bottles a good many years ago . I thought they were really neat but could never find anyone who thought that they amounted to anything as far as value . I would say the cans would have more value than the bottles though . I would think not a lot though , being that is a pretty common can . Maybe Hemi Hampton will chime in and share his knowledge . He is a big can collector . I think I got his name right !

Your cans are circa 1960, individually fairly a common can, $5 - $10 each in good condition like yours, but of course you've got the whole six pack plus the holder, too, so I'd guess about $50 for the lot - not bad for free! With the old can openers, it didn't matter which end you opened - but can collectors today prefer the bottom opened ones (because they still look unopened displayed upright). Nice find!
