I have absolutely no idea if this is in the right forum, but would be very grateful if anyone even knows what it is. Its very pretty pale green with patterns on it almost opalescence in appearance, the bottom indicates it is hand blown, it does not have any 'seams' I have more pics if anyone has any ideas.

Does it open?, because it kind of looks like a makeup container. A picture of the other side would be nice. And where did you get it?

Sorry forgot to say that it came with the onion bottle from my late sister-in-law's house, it is a rather odd thing and doesn't look like it could be used for much, we thought it might be an ink well for quills but only guessing. Anyway another pic!

I should know this. I've seen those really flat things before in milk glass but I'm drawing a blank. The design is awesome on yours.

If it's hollow, it could very well be an inkwell.. at first I thought it was solid and was thinking paperweight.

I don't think so. If it's what I'm thinking of it has that small opening, is about 3" across and ¾" deep.
Could we get the dimensions?
