Today was a very nice day so I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and get out for some digging in my good old milk bottle dump. Only two intact slugplate milks were found today. The two milks were a 1936 pint bird cage style Rockland Dairy bottle from Ellicott City, and the other was a cracked 1936 half pint Hilton Farm Dairy bottle from Catonsville.

I got 4 cream tops also. All from the Fairfield Western Maryland Dairy. The one on the far left has the older style top before the dacro style started being used.

Thanks for looking Steve. The cream top does look strange compared to the other ones. I will defenetly take the unlisted Balto. druggist next meeting. I have a few others I will need to take that aren't listed as well.

I went hiking today along a river but only found two bottles. The river has a steep bank about 10 feet high but it is covered in vines and shrubs. I went down a path because I saw broken glass and found a half pint milk bottle and saw another bigger bottle near the river. After barely missing a bath, I got it and called it a day. I will not try that again without someone to help pull me out of the river. What I found was unusual is the half pint milk was from a local dairy called the Clover Creamery Co and the bigger green bottle was from the Cloverdale Spring Co of Newville Pa.

The citrate bottles I normally see have the registered style crown top. That one looks unusual.
The Rockland dairy is nice.
