I only have one and it's just a dark olive inside thread. The color would qualify but it's not the right age to me.

Hello kendolbottles1black; I really enjoyed your post about Black Glass. I have some pieces but everything is being packed for a pending move. I feel the Black Glass products were really made in a lot of countries for the expedient shipping of liquid refreshment. There has been some good coverage in book literature, but there seems to be a lack of the information about the glass batch materials used.

no mate got quite a few from the uk though most aussie found blacks seem to originate from the uk
