Hi CALDIGR2; I didn;t look up the CFJCo, but the Clyde N.Y. on the back tells me it was made at the Clyde Glass Works in Clyde N.Y.. So that makes me interested.

Nice jar it's a # 1921 in the red book and the 1/2 gal in clear is one of the better. (I got all except that).

I dug the jar in a local privy. It is in great shape but the lid is not original to the jar, it's just a generic Mason top. I don't have a recent jar book, so really have no idea what to ask for the thing. Thanks for the information.[:)]

$20-25 for a clear Half Gallon.
Being a dug jar, is there any cloudiness, stains that would require a tumble?

Other than some very light content stain no. The jar had the porcelain CFJCo monogram lid still on it. Our soil is non-acidic loam and most bottles don't stain much, except for some eastern glass from houses that used inferior sand or dirt.
