Is there a book about identification/prices available? Or possible a link to an ID site? I have a few jars full from digs and would like to find out more on them. Enjoy the digging when I pull marbles and coins.

I have a few but I find the naming/id'ing of marbles exceedingly difficult. I think marbles are a hobby that books are not a huge help beyond basics. Of all the hobbies/collecting genres I am/have been into, they frustrated me the most. The differences between Superman and Supergirls, MFCs vs. CACs, slags and bricks drove me away from pursuing more. I could id an oxblood but not a lot beyond that.
"Collecting Antique Marbles" by Baumann is a decent book and the one I use the most.
www.landofmarbles.com is a great collector's website and the people on forums are very helpful.
If you are lucky enough to live in area where there is a club, join it. Hit a show and find a dealer you connect with. Pick their brian. That will help more than any books.
