Here are my finds from this weekend, I figured at a buck apiece I could not go wrong. The insulator looks like a # 154 but is bakelite, plastic or some other light solid material with the only markings being " C T C " embosed in a slug plate rectangle. Any Info on these would be most appreciated.

those are from like the 50's or 60's.... or maybe the 70's or so, used 'em to replace glass ones. Some of them are pretty tough, try as you might they're indestructable. Gotta melt them down if you feel like destroying them

The posts are the main reason I bought the pair but like everything else I'm curious about the maker and time frame . They must have used similar molds for these as they did for the glass ones and the mold lines indicate a two piece mold. Someone must know what company CTC represents? Also thanks for the info so far!!

Thanks for the info, that helps the search. I had found the first link to that chinese company but since they were founded in 1996 figured that wasn't it, besides if I thought it was chinese I would melt them down (under controlled conditions as you never know what dangerous krap they stick in their stuff)!
