Thanks for the feedback and info guys. I really like both of these. The 196 has a few drip points chipped off, maybe 4 or so. Really cool insulator, first one I've seen. I hope there's more down there.

The ceramic one does have an inside skirt. It's really cool and crude.

Water temp is around 38 degrees. Trying to decide whether or not to dive tomorrow. I'm thinking 'yes" :]

Definitely cool finds. I have only ever dug broken examples of the CD-196. They are very difficult to find in good shape, so if yours is close to mint then that is a heck of a find!
The pins are probably not of much interest to many collectors since they are so worn. BillinMo is right, though - the transposition pins are tough to find, so post a photo of the pin in the CD-196 if you can get it out. It probably still wouldn't be worth much, but it would be cool to see if they actually used the correct pin type.
Keep on picking them up! You never know when you'll be paying those bills off faster than expected by one fortuitous insulator find. ;)
