Picked these up yesterday. Guy I got them from is a hunter and found them on the surface near his house. He said there are two dumps and he is considering allowing me access to dig.

Anyway, first is a D F Smith Quality Dairy w/a Modern Top, quart
Next is a Washburns Dairy, pint. Spent many a day eating ice cream at their soda palor as a kid. Still in business, but limited sales.
Lastly, not a dairy product, but it came with the milks. Snow Crest Beverages, Salem Mass, held a concentrate and when empty was a bank. No top, but a cool bear anyway.

Thanks slag pile. I drove by there today, might stop by this weekend and see if he's ready for me to dig. Weather isn't going to hold out much longer. Although I saw a brown wooly moth today and it's brown band was very wide, folklore says it will be a mild winter. We shall see soon enough.

Good Luck on your digs. I heard a folk lore today too. The date that we have the first snowstorm= the # of storms we will have this winter. Oct. 28= 28 snow storms. Lets hope they are all 3" storms!!!!
