New local crock jug

Found this on craigslist a couple weeks ago. Not perfect but in pretty good shape. Has a few small chips on the lip, and one small spot on one side. First local crock jug in my collection

That's a very nice local score ya got there, I hope you got a good deal on it. I like the accidental dab of blue on the mouth; adds character.

I did get a good deal on it. I bought it along with 3 other crocks. I think I can sell the 3 other crocks and make enough so this one is free

Nice jug. There don't seem to be as many of these stencil jugs from Ohio as other areas, especially northeast Ohio. SOmeone on craigs list has a real nice one similar to yours but with fancier stenciling from Coshocton. They are taking offers, so I didn't bother to respond. I got a nice albany slip scratch jug from Columbus a few months back from craigs list also
