This is the only insulator I have ever dug. The other items that came out of the same site were late 1800s to early 1900s pharmacy bottles so I am curious what the date might be for this insulator. Any information would be appreciated.

What you have these is a CD 102 "No Embossing- Canada" insulator. It is listed as a MLOD(Mold Line Over Dome).

I absolutely LOVE picking up the MLOD No Embossing Canada 102s, and it is a fairly old piece. I believe they are made by Hamilton Glass Works.(there is a version that is tough to find with a special base that only hamilton was known to produce, thats why I say this)

I would estimate date to be like 1880-1890.

I would have to see a picture in natural light, with a white background to give you an exact idea on value, but to me, if it is in good shape with no chips in aqua, you are probably looking around 10 dollars or so.

Great piece of old Canadian glass!

Thanks for that information, Kyle. There are no chips and it seems to have hardly been used. Not worth much, alas, but nice glass. Thanks again for your help.
