All of these were recovered on the same dive back in 2010 in Lake Winnipesaukee here in NH.

Wow. I find one common pontil and I'm on cloud nine for the whole year. Well done. The dark inkwell is amazing.

I remember one of the old time collectors from New London CT where Im from telling me a story of finding a geo ink. In the 70's along one of the coves all the diggers used to walk the shore and find bottles, this was before an urban redevelopment project of course. One day while walking along he saw a woman a ways ahead of him pluck something up, look at it, and toss it towards the shore. As he made his way over he grabbed it up to check out it over and found after a quick rinse he was holding a perfect geometric ink! He caught up with the woman after and showed her, she was quite surprised! Story goes she thought it was a broken pontiled base and hadnt discerned it as an ink because of the muck. He still has it on his shelf.
