I hear ya about knocking things over. One of our nice booth shops here had some spaces that were so crowded I never felt safe picking thru them. I always turn my jacket in to the desk when I get inside. I'd hate to break something, but some places are just too cluttered to look safely. At least for us big clumsy oafs ; )

I've had a few problems with my dealers doing that in the past, but in 6,000 sq ft store that is somewhat expected, especially over 7 years. They think that since they are paying by the space, they are better off jamming as much in there as possible. I push them to focus on finding the right balance (not too much, not too little) and allow customers to actually look. My own spaces are customer friendly.

Part of the problem is customers who will pull out a chair or something to look at and then leave it right in the middle of the aisle. I know the customer is "always right," but it is also nice to put something back where you got it.

Hey, I recognize that place! [;)] I go there about once a month. I mostly go for the embossed stuff, but have found a few ACLs there like you did.
