Which type of pontil do you seem to prefer? Just curious as to in your collection, do you find one more appealing than the other?

AS far as medicines go iron pontil scars are a bit less common. It was typically later method in the pontil manf world and was more often used on larger bottles. On two of the same mold bottles the iron pontil one would like sell a little higher. Of course there exceptions to any generalities.
Personally I think the medicines with rectangular iron pontil marks are pretty cool.
Like this one form the UK site..

That's true Matt. Great looking bottle. I like the rectangular ones you see on some meds as well. This being a pontils only category, I figured it would be cool to see some of the great pontils on some of the bottles we all own. I'm also curious as to what some collectors seem to prefer!

I love 'em all. I don't have any killer OPs, but I did have a C. Heimstreet once with an OP big enough to hold a demijohn. I miss that one. Here's a fairly big'un on a 7.25" Harrison's.
