Need info on a milk bottle

I found a beautiful BROWN one quart milk bottle from Sunland Dairy, Yuma, Arizona.

I cannot find ANY info about this bottle of the dairy itself. The bottle is gorgeous and has the original paper top still intact!

Any info is greatly appreciated!

I couldn't find much. I saw a couple obits that put it from the early 40's-50's and possibly a yearbook ad from 1960.
Somewhere on the bottle it should be embossed with some numbers which may be a date code. Look around it and on the base, they may be small.

Hi Eric!

Thanks for your response. I used to live in Yuma and have asked friends who still live there and they know nothing of this dairy BUT... a little further research gives a "Sunland Dairy" in Phoenix(???)

The very bottom on the bottle on one of the four exterior sides is the following:
Side 1: "One Quart"
Side 2: "LIQ.X 343
Side 3: "1 REC."
Side 4: "Sealed (with a symbol that looks like a big T with a smaller letter or symbol under each horizontal top between the vertical part that looks to be a "M" an possibly a "C" or a sideways "L"?

The bottom outside of the bottle reads "S 56"

Any idea what all this means???

Yes!!! That is the one!!! and I forgot that there is a space then an "S" (if that means anything)

What does it mean? and all the other marks???

I'm not seeing anything on your base photo.

Perhaps you can put up a better photo. One of or esteemed members worked for Thatcher for many years. If he sees it, he can tell us much.

Hello Surf , not trying to steal the post but had to comment . Years ago I made many of those smoke and heat release vents like in your picture . Never seen one of them mounted on the top of a building till you posted this picture . Made my day .
