Hi, I'm a bottle newbie, and regarding the above bottle, it is about 5" tall, octagon shaped, excellent condition, clean with no stains or residue. There is a gentleman interested in buying the bottle from me and I have no idea what price to ask - something fair and reasonable.

I am seeking assistance in this matter and any is greatly appreciated.

For a cleaned, sparking pontiled Dr. Wistar's, I recall a member on this forum saying the value is 70$
I got one for 36$, but that was when bottles were at a price decline.

If you don't know, this is a pontil mark on the bottom.

There are a few of these bottles listed on ebay right now - you might want to look at the auctions. The price is much lower, but I am assuming the ones listed are without a pontil.

Yes, those are the sample 4 one eighth" versions. Those have no pontil.
