This bottle was dug in Yorkana, Pa (York County) in a turn of the century dump in the early 70's. The only damage was a small flake in the lip. As tumbling was still in its infancy, a friend chose to tumble it with 2 hutches (in an effort to save time I guess and using a new fangled design). One of the hutches broke free apparently smashing this fine example of early Americana (I hope it was cobalt). I've often wondered if this was a Philly product (being 2 hrs away by current transportation) or Baltimore (being 1 hr away). Early rails and canals allow for both to be a possible manufacturer. Just curious.
