I waited all day for the auction to finally get to the jars. I was really sweating it thinking that the place was full of jar collectors. Guess I was the only one there.[:)] The lightning quart is aqua but has very heavy whittling, a swirl and is dead mint. The clear midget has several swirls, odd vertical lines running top to bottom all the way around and heavy orange peel on the otherwise smooth base. The straight sided MASON'S (cross) pint has several swirls that circle the jar, a couple of small globs and some mold line problems. The MASON'S (SGCO) is very heavily whittled, has flats (not indentations) oposite one another but not on the mold lines and a base that I will show to you in the next picture. The aqua MASON'S (cross) midget is whittled on the front but just won"t make it into the crude collection. I'll just toss it in the recycle bin[8|]
