My scratch and dent sale continues.... (hey I bought all these - someone else might too)
Here is a rare Illinois ale bottle in a great Citron color (It is a light yellowish amber with some olive tones). However, it has a crack... a very, very big crack! Approximately 9" worth of crack across the front lettering and down across the whole bottom. Did I mention it has a crack. However, it can occupy a spot on your shelf until you can find a mint one. I have had this bottle over 10 years and it has not changed. It is a heavy bottle and despite the crack it is still solid. It is 9 1/8" tall and 3 11/16" across and heavy. It is embossed:
E. SCHROEDER / EAST ST.. LOUIS // A & D. H. C.
