I am looking for Ramblin Root Beer bottles. This was a product of Coca-Cola back in the late 1970's and early 1980's. I need the returnable ACL bottles (any size) and No Deposit No Return bottles. They aren't that old, but I can't seem to find many here in Georgia. It was sold mainly up north and out west. So-check your garage, basements, etc. and find me some! Just contact me with what you find and I'll buy them.
Thanks! Here is a 'stock' photo that Coca-Cola made for the product. But, there are several other sizes of bottles available than what is pictured. I'll take any size I can find.
I have come up with quite a few Ramblin Root Beer bottles like the ones you seek. I also have Sunkist, Sprite, Coke, Dr. Peper, and some Dads Root Beer etc. You can contact me for pictures and other information. My email is the best way to contact me.
How has your search for Ramblin Root Beer gone? I have been able to find only very little information about such bottles, let alone someone knows about them. I was very greatful to have come up successfully with this site and your post from my google search.
I've been finding a lot of REX rootbeer stuff lately. It was a coca cola product based in New Orleans. Never heard of Ramblin until I called the coke company. She said they still make it in certain areas. Have you heard this? I will call again if you won't and get a second opinion!
Yes-I knew they still made Ramblin Root Beer, but I don't think they bottle it. It is only sold as syrup for fountain drinks. Some restaurants still serve it around the Atlanta area.
I found a Rex root beer bottle about a year ago in a local antique store. It is a 10 ounce. Do you have any other size besides that in the Rex bottle? I would like to add a different size to my collection.
Here are the only two bottles I've come up with so far in the Ramblin Rootbeer. One is a 10 ounce, the other a 16 ounce. I know one day I will come across some other sizes. Someone also told me that there is a Sugar Free Ramblin Rootbeer bottle too.
Looked closer at the cap and it looks like a palm tree. SC is the palmetto state so maybe it's related but don't know if that's common. Also on the outside threads of the screw cap it reads "10577 SC...
