embossed pepsi bottle 1940's?

embossed on the bottom of the bottle is DES PAT. 120'277 14. A429 and there is an anchor hocking symbol.
any info?

Hey Ed, Those are very common and came with a paper label. You can find the labels and bottles with labels on Ebay quite often.

Nice post Churchillea:

Any value to the embossed Do Not Return Pepsi bottles. Maybe 25 cents? I just like all the embossing. I surely know they aren't worth much. I think I'll quit when I have 6. Just one of those worth nothing bottles that I like. We all have 1 of those such bottles. C'mon admit it ! Thank-you to ebay/seller for photo.

For what it's worth, there's collectors out there that who deal with no deposit, no return bottles. There's even a web site or two for them.[;)]

Thanks Maine. Just one of those stupid bottles I like, but not many of ones like this. Actually this one and the unembossed bimal sauce jars are my fav's.
