small brown poison

hello, So... what the heck kind of poison was in this? is this a common bottle? worth anything? (poison is on both sides)

It's a KR-9. Fairly common in the smaller sizes. What size is it? As for it's contents, without the label, we can only speculate. Most common poison found in the day was Mercury Chloride (bi-chloride and I think I even seen a di-chloride...maybe) One of the antiseptics of the time.

Mercury chloride was also commonly prescribed for the treatment of STDs, particularly syphilis.
