I've always been taught that AQUA was Blue-Green with some leaning towards the Blue side and others leaning towards the Green side. I see this one as Light Blueish Aqua. Sky Blue is much more blue and more pronounced.

Hi creeper 71, From what I can tell from your pics, your jar is aqua-marine color {bluish-green} which is a fairly comon color for the Mason Patent 1858 jars, hope this helps & thanks for shareing.
