I recently purchased this utility from E-bay, my first puce utility. By the looks of the color, I would guess that it was probably blown in Baltimore. Any feedback would be appreciated.

"The color is said to be the color of the bloodstains remaining on linen or bedsheets even after being laundered from a flea's droppings or after a flea has been killed." From wiki-puce.
Hey Christian,
How tall is that cylinder, and what does the bottom look like?
Very nice bottle Chris, I am partial to them myself. They are found in the west and I have heard them called rose waters like a florida water. They come in some crazy colors and I to think they could be from Baltimore. Regardless of what they held or where they are made they are very nice looking bottles.
Thanks Sandchip for the definition. A bottle book I have ( Unitts ) mentioned that different oxides were added to color the glass ..example: copper, selenium or gold was added to the mixture to get the color RED...as for fleas, we don't have any 4 leg-it creatures to have FLEAS...we do however have uninvited flying guests as black flies , mosquitoes and deer flies that will take a hunk of flesh of you and come back for seconds...[]
regardless, it is an awesome color..
Is it the one that was on ebay that came from the "Big Dig"?.... I was interested in because they found large size puce Shriver's Oyster Ketchups there which are from Baltimore. Chances are it is Balt. in my opinion.... Looks more like a Florida Water than a sauce.
