Hi Folks. I bought a small collection of sulphide marbles a couple days ago. I bought them from a guy who is in college and decided to part with his collection. He had collected them over 15 years so I guess he bought one a year? There are 15 total. I don't really know much about sulphides but have always liked them so we struck a deal and now they are with some other marbles I have. Anyway, just sharing. I will try and get a closer pic of them. I am also sharing some other marbles I have in the same case. Hope you like them. Best regards and good luck finding or digging items for your collections. Paul :)

Gotta love marbles. Dug a sulphide with a unicorn in it. The wife found out what it was worth and talked me in to selling it. Wish I had kept it.

Great collection. Lovw the Flaccus jars too.

Het Paul,

Great get, sir. I've always thought those were cool.

They look lonely and so far away... [8D]

I would not be insulted in the least bit, were you to decide to get all macro on them...

Sulphides are some of the great ones!Yep they are reproduced, because they are so good...the rarer the figure inside the more the marble is worth....I have long wanted one ,but can't afford one...one I would love to have is Moses in the basket...CAP. the unicorn one is very cool!

The other marbles I would love to have are the ones that have cartoon or comic strip characters on them..

any way great buy !Just noticed I am under Nina...they are sulphides that have numbers and letters, but animals and human figures are better.JAMIE
