I was out on my regular Friday morning yard sale rounds, big new subdivision sale this weekend, thankfully the garages face the street so I can just drive by the baby and kid sales. I got a few decent things but just when I get ready to leave another sale opens. I spot a box with a couple jugs in the back, obviously not for sale. I pick up one, the other was one of those common german mineral waters. I was excited to see it impressed J.W. TRIPLETT, thinking East Akron area as there is Triplett Boulevard there. She says I don't really want to sell that but you can have it for $3, I'm not selling the other one because it is really rare. I quickly handed over the $3 and went home to look in my local stoneware book. Turns out it is from Trumbull County and there are (or were) no known examples. It's in excellent condition, a keeper for sure.
