I picked this up open pontil Johnson American Liniment over the weekend along with a dirt cheap Dupont powder tin. I have seen a ton of these linament bottles but not many open pontils. Both were priced right and is in great condition.

ORIGINAL: diggerdirect

Is it embossed 'Liniment' or 'Anodyne'?

Still a nice looking bottle either way!
I see anodyne thru the bottle..
