Ok, so I know I posted a few bottles previous, but I thought I would just find out what everyone thinks the value of these bottles are, because I have a few people pressing hard on me to sell them. Thanks again for all the help!

1 Qt. Bottle approximately 9 1/2" Tall. Bottle reads " This bottles property of and filled by a member of the raw milk dealers association of Eau Claire, Wisconsin." Back of the bottle reads "Drink raw milk for health." The front side of the bottle is embossed. Black letter on the back side of the bottle.

You may get a better idea contacting Wisconsin milk collectors like this guy Mr Bottles. He has a pretty extensive collection and has a link for appraisals on his page.

Skins thanks for the comment. I have tried contacting Mr. bottles half a dozen times without any response. Do you know of any other way besides what is listed on the website to get a hold of him? Thanks

No sorry I just found it off of Google. Keep looking around though. I got alot of help with mine by contacting different bottle clubs in the state my bottle came from. Probably contacted 10 different people with only a couple responses but the ones I got helped tremendously.

Dougan's Dairy

Quite a bit of history on the owner if this is the right guy.

Readers will remember the round barn from my columns of Jan. 12 and Feb. 3: How W.J. Dougan, a minister who lost his hearing and turned to dairy farming, bought a run-down farm on East Colley Road just east of Beloit in 1906 and built the round barn five years later.

And how his granddaughter, Jacqueline Dougan at age 15, declared she would someday write "what the round barn sees ... and the round barn is in the middle of us all, and it sees everything."

And, she did write about the round barn and what it saw in three books, the latest and most complete and published just last fall; "The Round Barn, A Biography of a Farm Family."

Also I saw a lot of four quarts sell on proxibid for 45 dollars. Seller was from wisconsin so I am guessing it was the same Dougan's Bottle? Only a guess.
