I acquired a rare previously unknown Baltimore milk bottle off ebay from doing some research. I saw the seller had a few Baltimore sodas for sale, so I decided to check their other items to see what else they had. They had a milk bottle embossed Belfield Dairy-B-J.D. Beidelman. I figured it was worth researching to see where it was from and I found in google books that J.D. Beidelman owned the Walbrook Dairy of Baltimore in the early 1900s and he was secretary for the "ce Cream Trade Journal" (also Baltimore related). I couldnt find any listings for the Belfield Dairy in Baltimore, but the only places J.D. Beidelman showed up were all Baltimore related so this is indeed a Baltimore bottle. I am looking forward to showing the Maryland milk collectors and getting this in the Maryland milk list. It amazes me that there are still milk bottles from unknown dairies surfacing considering all the different ones that have been found. This was a no-brainer at just $6.95.
