Anybody on this list interested in this flask for $950 + actual mailing cost, First email to me gets it. I will pull it from eBay. It should be worth $1,200 at least in my opinion. You'll be helping a good cause also.

That's a beauty Jim and if it was something I collected I would snap it up, how tall is it?

Thank you, it is a beautiful example of glass makers art. And it is that, ART. It stands just under 9 inches tall.

The knock on this piece has been the roughness on the mouth. Heck, that's just the way it was made. Many of these had the mouth re-fired to smooth the lip, this one didn't for some reason. It certainly isn't the only one like that. But, everyone has their preferrences, if they don't like it they shouldn't buy it. And they haven't.

My deadline is Friday, therefore the softening of my position. Thanks for asking.

Nice indeed!!
I found the Gardner reference with your own sticker a bit confusing for a moment though. I hope bidders don't get the wrong idea.

I first looked at the post and looked at the bottle on the bay. I read the description and passed over all the terms of sale to read the description. I saw the Gardner reference then looked at the pictures.
I then thought, huh? Sinsley or Gardner?
The sticker looks like an auction sticker from the 80's or 90's and it had me confused. I wondered if the wool was being pulled over my my eyes. I didn't see a Gardner sticker.
I soon remembered you and came back to ABN which gave me the answer.
The casual viewer may not make that distinction.

Jim, is the Gardner identifying sticker intact? Without it the what provenance is there that the bottle came from his collection?

Here's a picture I just took, it's very similar to one attached to the auction. I suspect folks are missing that.
